A Little About Me

I'm a guy who fell in love with living abroad who lives with the slight, the absurd, hopeless-romantic pursuit of actually falling in love. Every ten years or so, I give in to the notion that the latter is a reality and not just a beautifully-crafted cruel dream—only to be left heartbroken enough to fully appreciate the endless majesty and adventure life itself holds in abundance.

Since moving to Saigon in 2023, I’ve experienced the rapid growth and evolution of Vietnam’s martial arts scene. And being a part of this passionate, innovative—from coach to competitor to commentator—and it’s been incredible. This community has provided more opportunities than I ever dreamed of in a lifetime, and it's only been a little over two years.

Vietnam’s martial arts community is one of the most innovative and fastest-growing in the world… and the world doesn't even know it yet! It's a special moment in history, and I'm here to make sure we don’t miss it.

I'm always open to any partnership or adventure that's challenging, meaningful, and, ideally, doesn't take itself too seriously. When we combine our networks and pool our resources, we have the chance to move the needle in nearly any industry or sport—or at least cause some interesting chaos. And hey, even if everything crashes and burns, you’re still in one of the most fun places on earth, surrounded by some of the warmest people you’ll ever meet. Not a bad worst-case scenario.
